St. Patty's Day

Saturday, March 17, 2012
Hey Everyone! Happy St. Patricks Day! Hope you are all wearing your green today. Today's outfit I decided to mix up the typical St. Patrick's Day green with a fun bright skirt and my cowboy boots. While I spend my weekend inside hiding from the rain and studying like crazy for my finals, I hope everyone has a great weekend.

The Color Purple

Monday, October 24, 2011
You can almost always find the color purple in my outfit somewhere, from a purple shirt to my rain boots and even my phone cover. This outfits was obviously inspired by my favorite color. I kept it simple with not too much purple, but enough to notice it. It seems that my rain boots have been going with every outfit lately so here they are again. After today it may be a while before you see them in a new post.

For the Frlll of It

Tuesday, October 18, 2011
As it is getting closer to the holidays dressing up becomes more of the routine. For me anything that is super girly, with lots of frills or over the top is in my wardrobe. Since the holidays allows for such excessive dressing, it becomes so much fun. The key to dressing frilly is to pick one statement piece to focus on. The rest of the outfit needs to compliment, but not dress down the statement piece. it is important that you aren't overwhelming your figure with too much but also not create saucy a contrast that your outfit is out of place.

In this outfit the skirt is the centerpiece. The black top pulls in the waist band of the skirt, but also has a ruffle down the front, which may be kinda hard to tell. Shoes are also designed to compliment the outfit. These one have the black ruffle downy the front, which plays off the shirt and compliments the skirt. Finally the bag is added for a bit of functionality.
