Prep Time

Sunday, March 4, 2012
Gosh, what are we going to do with all this nice weather? Even though they keep saying its going to rain it seems like the sun is winning out!

There is something about dressing a bit preppy. It is really easy to put together an outfit like this. A sweater, skinny jeans, low heels, and pearls put together makes this look very easy. I found these old shoes in the back of my closet and thought they were perfect for this outfit. They added that bit of old school class but still kept it modern. An outfit like this is great for wearing to work or even a meeting.  I particularly like to wear an outfit to have lunch with friends.

Maxi Dress

Monday, February 6, 2012
This past weekend the weather had just been so nice, that I couldn't resist taking some pictures. Two weeks ago we had snow and now we are having 60 degree days. This look was inspired by Sydney's from The Daybook Sometimes. I never thought of wearing a maxi skirt in the winter months, but it makes total sense! Why wouldn't we want some extra fabric to cover our legs and keep us a bit warmer. For this look I didn't have a maxi skirt, so I layered my Free People sweater over my H&M maxi dress. I also found these super fun headband at Free People. It's a little bit different than normal, because it sits on top of your head and is made of wire. It's got these cute little flower charms that hang down into your hair. This headband definitely is great to finish off a boho look.

Casual Friday

Friday, November 18, 2011
Happy Friday Everyone! For the last couple weeks I have been feeling sort of off. Hopefully a great relaxing weekend will set me straight again. For today I wanted to share my casual friday look with you. I layered a button up sweater under one of my favorite leather jackets and my rain boots. I love this look because it is so easy to put together and looks good on any day. With the the simple colors I used you could easily add a colorful scarf or switch out the striped scarf for a color.

Cardigan, Scarf, and Boot Kind of Day

Monday, November 14, 2011
Lately I've had a terrible habit of shopping and spending too much money. This weekend I hit up Nordstrom and found some new shoes. One of the amazing new pairs was these boots by Pakros. These boots have a wire in the top so that you can move the tops however you want. I couldn't resist wearing them today. I paired it with a simple sweater and a infinity scarf. Today was a cardigan, scarf and boot kind of a day.
