Brown Eyes

Monday, January 30, 2012
This week I am going to share some of my favorite makeup tricks with you. Here is what you will need for this look. It doesn't have to be these exact shades, but something similar will give you this look.

Base: Painterly (MAC)
Eyeshadows: Embark (MAC), Haux (MAC), All That Glitters (MAC), Jest (MAC)
Eyeliner: Trunkella (Eye Kohl MAC)
Mascara: Haute and Naughty Lash (MAC)

Below is a tutorial on how to get everyday brown eyes.

Start with a base. It'll help keep your eyeshadow in place all day.

Add a soft purple/brown color (huex) to your crease.

Press the dark brown color into the crease of you lid. Don't blend into the crease yet. Create the shape that you want during this step.

Now use the first color you used to blend the dark brown into your crease.

Use the light glittery shade in the blank area.

Use the first shade to blend in the crease again. Use your glittery shades last so that you don't end up with glitter all over your lid.

Finish up with a brown liner.

The final touch is adding your mascara.

This look is soft so that you can were it just about everyday.
