My 3 weekly staples is back! Personally I love doing this weekly. I love being able to look at my week and see what I have been using that week. This past week has been so crazy for me! I have been working on my statistics homework, writing a paper, and trying to study for an exam on Sunday.

3 Staples

For this week 3 Staples Christmas and the upcoming holidays have been a major influence. Well I say it is a major influence because it is literally everywhere. I am not complaining about this, because I love the holidays. So here are my 3 Staples of the week:

Basketball

This week was the first game of the season for my sisters team, and that means I am going to be spending lots of time watching the game. These games are so much fun for me hang out and watch. She has become so good over the years it is just unbelievable. 

Starbucks Holiday Drinks

I typically drink a peppermint mocha, but there is something that tastes different about it when its cold outside. Over time this has been a staple in my week. I love going to Starbucks grabbing my mocha and sitting down and people watching. 

Free People Ethnic Print Scarf


My sister and I got this scarf a few weeks ago for a steal, and so far I love wearing it. It is super warm so it keeps me warm even though it is freezing outside. The scarf is mostly brown with pieces of cream, red, and blue. This color combo really brings warmth, which is always good.

This week it has been hard to come up with 3 things that I have been wearing a lot. I find that I often grab onto a couple things and wear them to death. Though for some reason this week I don't feel like I have done that at all. As I look back at the outfits from the last week, I am trying to remember what I wore. So please forgive me if this week is not as fun as weeks past.

Infinity Knit grey scarf - I recently bought this new grey infinity scarf. It has quickly worked it way into almost every outfit. It is so warm, and with it being so cold it is practical and cute.

Fergie slouchy boots - These boots were added to my wardrobe this summer, and at that time I didn't have much use for them. Now that it is much cooler I love wearing them with skinny jeans or leggings. 

Tart dress - I finally had a reason to wear my favorite new dress. When you buy a formal dress you normally have a reason to wear it, but when I bought this one I did not. Though it is not a wardrobe staple I wanted to add it to this week, because it was one of my favorite thing this week.

7 For all Mankind Love Story Bag - It is time for midterms and this means I am spending a lot of time with my books. I need a sturdy, but also cute bag to carry all those books around in. This bag has been perfect for the task. It is large enough to carry the books I need, but still small enough that I don't carry my entire bedroom around with me. My favorite part of this bag is that it has love notes written all over it.

Michael Kors Aviators - Surprisingly it has been quiet sunny lately, but that doesn't mean it has been warm. These aviators have been a must whenever I am in the car. I have yet to purchase a pair of glasses that I have loved nearly as much. Though they are gold (which I usually wear very little of) they have white detailing around the frames so it is not too overwhelming.

High Socks - Just because we have had some sun doesn't mean that it has been necessarily warm. Boots are the perfect combo for the cold weather. The added high sock underneath is a nice finishing touch, but can also keep your ankles warm. I think this look can be worn with jeans, leggings, and even dresses. This look has become very trendy lately so keep your eye out for different ways to wear it.

Street Level Handbag: Recently, I invaded my sisters room and found this handbag she wasn't using. I told her I was going to borrow it and as of right now I don't plan to give it back. It is super functional with the short straps to hold or the long strap to throw over my shoulder. Also the color is perfect for any outfit.

Paige "Skyline" jeans: I am constantly in my skinny jeans, so about 2 weeks ago I decided I wanted a new paige that were a bit darker wash then the rest. I found these Paige jeans and fell in love. They are super comfy and fit just right, without too much stretch.

Pearl Earrings: These I got for christmas last year and have been wearing them off and on. Lately they have been with me almost every day. I think they are perfect for any outfit.
