Fall Is Here

Thursday, November 17, 2011
Fall has been here for a while now, and it has me thinking, of all the things I am thankful for. Thanksgiving is right around the corner and then we will be into the Christmas season. Often we get lost in thinking about figuring out the schedule and presents that we might forget some of the small things that we are thankful for. So for today's post I wanted to share with you four things that I am thankful for.

I also wanted to hear what you were thankful for. Leave a comment and let me know!

1. The changing of the leaves. It is a constant reminder of how fast life moves and to enjoy every second.

2. My favorite umbrella. Living in the northwest you must have one of these.

3. My big, crazy, loud, and amazing family.

4. Being able to go to school, even though lately I haven't been thinking of it as a blessing.

Fall For It

Happy Friday Everyone. Since there is no denying that fall is officially here, I wanted to share one of my favorite fall outfits. The thing about fall is it about being comfy. You'll want to wear something warm so something like a sweater is great. Another thing you might worry about is your shoes, it is never fun having we feet. So, the solution for me is boots. Many might say I own way too many pairs, but I wear them almost everyday.

P.S. What do you guys think of my hair color? It is a bit darker than before.

Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch

So yesterday we took a road trip down to Portland, to see my cousin and go to the pumpkin patch. You might wonder why we took a 4 hour drive down to Portland for a pumpkin patch. Well, we wanted to go to the Roloff Farm, which you might know from the TLC show Little People, Big World. While we were there we got to meet Amy and Molly Roloff. We got to tour the farm and see all the different pieces that you may have seen on the show. There was also some great kettle corn from Miss Hannahs Popcorn. We eventually got around to selecting our pumpkins. The day was so much fun, I can't wait to go back again next year.

Of course all of us girls had to wear our rain boots even
though it was such a nice day.
